If you like Zeppelin make sure you check these guys out.3 brothers from Michigan. Best new band in a long time.

#2 6 years ago

Been grappling with the critical philosophical question of whether these guys are legit badasses or mere Led Zep poseurs. I lean heavily toward liking them so far. Either way, takes balls to sound that much like the Zep without being a straight-up tribute band.

Singer certainly sounds like Robert plant....

I work at a concert venue in Milwaukee called TheRave. when they announced this band, they sold all the tickets in mintues. They play September 15. I'll be sure to check them out.

I've been at the Rave more times than I could count, or The Eagles Club as it used to be known as.

Not bad but they can't hold a candle to the great and mighty Led Zep!

#7 6 years ago

My favorite new band. I like them better than Led Zepplin....and I'm 50.

#8 6 years ago

Seem a little derivative to me, but then if anyone deserves to get ripped off, it would be the king of ripoff...

That's what I thought when I heard them for the first time a couple of weeks back. It sort of reminded me of when Kingdom Come released their first album back in '88. Not many remember them today I'd bet. Maybe Greta Van Fleet will get more traction, or not. Still, Zep lifted heavily from the old blues guys, maybe these young guys will have some staying power, too.

Just bought tickets for Rochester show.

#11 6 years ago

Modern music at it's finest. lol.

#12 6 years ago

Ive really been diggin these guys for an older rock meets newer tech kind of band. Check them out.

#13 6 years ago

Are they 12?

Haha!! That thought has crossed my mind.

#16 6 years ago

Damn it, I was going to buy tickets for the Seattle gig in October but procrastinated and now it's sold out. That band rocks, my guess is they'll be big in the not so distant future!!!

#17 6 years ago

Its funny,I just found out about them 4 days ago,and I already bought their E.P. and concert ticket.

#18 6 years ago

I liked them better when they were called Kingdon Come.

#19 6 years ago

They're fun and would be enjoyable seeing live, hell they might be great live. But....Zep was all about the rhythm section of JPJ and Bonham. Love Jimmy and Robert but the Zep sound is about those two dudes in the back that aren't being draped by groupies.

i liked them better when they were called Wolfmother.

Their 4-song EP is great! I'm listening to it over-and-over!

Man...tough crowd.

These kids rock, plain and simple. Kick back, crank up the volume, have a beer and enjoy.

Rocking chair rockers.

Points for these guys putting themselves out there--Zeppelin ripoff or not. At some level everything sounds like something that's been done.

#25 6 years ago

What came first this or Kashmir? Seems to be a common chord progression in both...

#27 6 years ago

Kashmir of course. I really enjoyed seeing Zep do it live back in '77. They sped it up a bit and had an epic light show and a giant mirrored disco ball during the refrain.

I listened, they are OK, but nothing like this. Too bad TI doesn't still rock this hard.

Lets all smoke a big fatty and get on it !!

TI is good...but I agree, he doesnt rock as hard as he used to.

#32 6 years ago

No, but I'll look them up.

#33 6 years ago

You mean Kingdom Clone...both are awesome! Anybody that sounds this close to Zep I'm up for listening to.
Highway tune is basically, "the Rover" off of Physical Graffiti, check out the riff...

we used to be the house band for the rave most of the 90's. it's a shithole. but good place to see bands that can't sell out the stadiums .

#39 6 years ago

Drove to Omaha to watch these guys, was a great show! Worth the 8 hour drive each way. Got my vinyl in the mail on wednesday.

Rock on!

#40 6 years ago

Like these guys, however, just saw Jason Bonham and the Led Zeppelin Experience, that was very moving! They played a bunch of non mainstream songs so it really is a show for the fans.

Yes....in 30 years!

#42 6 years ago

I just have to share this. Just today saw this thread. Liked video. Thought I might see if they play anywhere near me and I might go.

Discover they are playing tomorrow night 7 miles from me. And... I already have plans.

Shit for luck

And new new album is stuck on perma-spin.
Great energy. Happy vibe. Amazing agility in the voice.
The heavy rock bus *should* be driven (like this) by the youth...

#44 6 years ago

Yeah I am sold on these guys for sure. I mean I get the zeppelin comps above but I think there is enough of a difference. Either way I love the album. I could listen to “Talk on the Street” over and over.

On a side note I would have never heard this band if it weren’t for this thread.

#45 6 years ago

See them now while they are young. They are the real deal.

#46 6 years ago

Great band I admit but the lead singer really needs to find a new look. He looks like he could be singing Justin Beiber songs lol

#47 6 years ago

Dem kids r good

#48 6 years ago

Only problem is... that for the past year they have been riding the wave of one song. They are VERY good but LZ. Not even in the same league.

I just got their CD. It's fantastic. If I didn't know better. I could swear I was listening to a new Led Zepplin album.
