Is there any reason not to use green LED's on a system 80 power supply? Clay's guides recommend you don't do it yet no reason why. Is it power draw or what? Thanks! Chris

Does that guide really say that?
There is no reason to not use whatever color you like. Green, blues, whatever...press on.

Thanks Chris! I have already rebuilt a couple with the green and was just checking!

Thanks again!

After designing military boards for many years, traditionally green means good, yellow means caution and red means problem. For power supply indicators - I always go with green.
