Quoted from DanQverymuch:

But, hang on, he was ranked third in a Guitar World magazine reader's poll, so maybe I was on to something with my little joke. Be gentle, Levi!

I don't trust a guy who puts a Kahler on a Les Paul.

Quoted from Phbooms:

Jack White- master of Big Muff pedal
t

Jack White's cool...but I just read an entire chapter in a book about the history of the electric guitar where he is going on about the bargain-basement vintage knockoff guitars he likes to use, and how much time, effort, creativity, and work it is getting a decent sound out of them.

I mean, that's cool and all, but why not just use a guitar that ISN'T a piece of shit?

Yes, this is fairly common knowledge among anybody who has ever consulted Wikipedia.

Apparently Randy had zero interest in the live album of Sabbath covers (supposedly he hated Sabbath, which I guess I'll try not to hold against him). He was also supposedly tired of dealing witj drunk and insane Ozzy and was planning on leaving after the ill-fated 1982 tour.

The album of course was eventually done after he died, as Speak of the Devil.

Quoted from Elvishasleft:

I'm sure like most people he probably just wanted to play his own music. Nobody at that level wants to be in a "cover" band.
His solos I always liked although most are pretty worked out and triple tracked even... one of the few guys I ever learned the solos (Im lazy) because they are so cool.

His solos rule.

I love the track SATO...it's basically one 4 minute long guitar solo coming out of one speaker. Also love the endless fade out solo on "Tonight."

I love how vid keeps posting this shit expecting to pick a fight with somebody.

If nobody has taken the bait yet on defending Pete for his skirmish with sex offender laws after your first 12 Pete Pedo Posts, it's probably not going to happen now. I think everybody shot their load already with Clapton.

Quoted from vid1900:

You know you have become radicalized when you believe re-telling classic morning radio jokes is picking a fight.
[quoted image]

How is posting a picture of a newspaper front page or a sex offender mug shot “retelling a joke,” unless you think pedo porn arrests are side-splittingly hilarious?

You are simply begging someone/anyone here to argue with you about Pete townshend and getting no takers. And now you are frustrated and want to speak with pinside’s manager.

What a Karen!

Quoted from vid1900:

That's an oddball list for sure.
Not really a valid Greatest Guitarists list without Yingwie

No Yingwie fat jokes from you?

Have we finally found your sacred cow??

(we've found the cow alright...and he's swedish. With scalloped frets. And scalloped potatoes)

Quoted from pinzrfun:

Fun fact: George Lynch is his uncle. I'm sure he picked up a few pointers at family reunions.

From a couple weeks back in Belgium. Great guitarist and really pulling the weight in priest now.

Quoted from dasvis:

& who did Hendrix idolize? ---- Dick Dale, that's right.
Other musicians worshipped him
Rock legends from Jimi Hendrix to Stevie Ray Vaughan, and from the Beach Boys to Queen, revered Dick Dale and regularly named him as a central influence. "RIP Dick Dale - Father of the Surf Guitar. We all owe you. Rock on," wrote Queen guitarist Brian May on Instagram, after hearing the news of his death.
"I'm sorry to hear about Dick Dale passing," wrote Beach Boys guitarist Brian Wilson. "Dick's guitar playing was a big influence on all of us, and we covered Misirlou on our Surfin' USA album in '63. Love & Mercy to Dick's family."

Hendrix allegedly was also a big fan of Billy Gibbons.
