I am a big fan of LED's in most machines; There are two major suppliers we are familiar with. One with great prices but a limited selection and the other with a great selection and good prices but failures are an issue for me.

I had a local player that was looking for a solution and started bringing me some pbulbs in to run in my machines. I have been running them for months now without a single failure in my arcade and I really love the selection.

I am especially impressed with th einterchangeable domes for clear and frosted or none at all. The warm white is a spot on match to a traditional incandescent and I am running them in the backglass of all my pre-90 machines.

Check them out and give them a try. I understand a pinside discount is in the works if it isn't a reality already

My Thor inserts just pop now. Pic doesn't do them justice.

Thanks Stryker's! Glad you liked them. The inserts did come out pretty icy nice on thor's hammer!

Could you post a picture of the WW next to an incandescent for reference? I am also curious if you installed flat top, clear or frosted and if you got any hotspotting.

    Thanks in advance!

Look for a new post later today on the backglass lighting for early SS using them.

Excellent thats exactly what I was looking for as I haven't found a suitable WW yet for backglass.
