Going to all 3 in Chicago!!
I have the Grateful Dead vp table in my machine. There was no way I was going to pass on it. The table design is not that original, but it's still fun to play. And a darn good tracklist to go along with it...

Quoted from Gryszzz:Nice miracle score Snow....I bet you've got a perma-grin going dont ya ?! Have a great show !
Yup. Beyond permgrin all day!
The ticket score was actually via a good friend.
Long and short, 20 years ago my bro promised he would go to a show with me. Jerry dies and he never got the opportunity. Today my buddy was able to somehow get 2 floors in the re-re and surprised me. He is probably even more stoked than I was that he got to suprise me with them.
Everything is coming up Milhouse today!
Even better is that I RARELY get to see my brother or spend time with him (just the 2 of us) now that he has a young daughter. Gonna be great on so many levels!
Congrats, Hilton...Should be a Great Show!
I wish they were touring more!
We have a gang of pinheads going to see the Stones next week, so I guess I cant complain.
Those Chicago tix were unpossible to score. Four friends and I are going to the Santa Clara shows both nights. My friend was right on top of the sales for those.
After 70 plus shows and an older and grumpier demeanor, I proudly say....
PPV.....Baby!!!!! Beers are cheap, stellar sound and zero line to pee!
...not to mention the sightline.
Lot scene outside my house is lacking, though.
The Dead Pinball machine could end up similar to the add-a-ball wedgehead machines dedicated for Wisconsin and New York due to legal "gambling" constraints in a way that the weed legal states and DC would have their Dead pinball machines award joints that spit out as a gameplay reward, similar to Safecracker spitting out tokens..... What a wonderful world this would be.....
If you meet a girl named Sheri from Riverside/Crystal Lake, say Hello. Man I wish I could be there and relive the past shows.....Best of luck to you all going to the Dead shows.
Quoted from Whysnow:I scored a pair of tickets in the rerelease today for GD50 at Solider!
STOked!!!!!!!!!
Face value and on the floor!
Funk yeah I scored a pair in the nosebleeds today for the 5th! Never miss a Sunday show
Get in to San Fran on Friday and have tix for the Warfield: CHRIS ROBINSON BROTHERHOOD / MELVIN SEALS & JGB With Special Guest John Kadlecik

One more long strange trip!
I am a vet of many shows (40+) way back when, and if I had tickets I would be excited to go but obviously there is no Jerry so I just wonder how good it will be. No offense to Bob and Phil but Jerry made it magical.
On another note, anybody that is a fan of the dead that doesn't have Sirius, the Grateful Dead station is worth the price of admission on its own.
Quoted from simplykind:Bump for the Chicago shows! I'll be there on Sunday holding my face on
Santa Clara was rocking Sat/Sun. What an event. Enjoy the show!
Quoted from SealClubber:Bong tube ramp aka Xenon would be a no brainer.
Ok, so one of the mods posted a warning about lets keep this forum family friendly, yet another posts a message about a bong tube.

Nice, you were in the pit. I am on the club level 200 about 3 sections back from the stage. Should be a good spot. My 17 year old son is not ready for what he is about to see.
Saw them plenty in the early 80s wouldn't be the same w/o Jerry. Frost shows were always my favorite. Would totally be in for the pin.

True, it's not the same without Jerry, but it's always great to get together with friends and enjoy his music played live.

You can't go wrong with seats considering they played for three and a half hours each night. With the dancing and the walking around tailgating each day, I was drained ....err no .... Dead tired!

You have been permanently ejected from this thread. You should have received a message about this.
Quoted from Insane:I know a couple of the sets from CA are on youtube already..
How did they sound? Is Bob's voice still strong?

Now this would would have been sweet. The pics are interesting as well. The video screens on either side seem so out of place but it is the way of modern shows. You saw a good one.
Quoted from Duff:Interesting set lists. Would have been more stoaked for the 28th..
The 27th was more fun all around IMHO. The vibe was electric (first night thing), and there was a double rainbow. Phil was on fire all night, and drums/space was epic.
