super close to burning this thing. been making progress and decided to lower the playfield down and try to shoot a ball and see how it went....then flippers and some targets quit working. picked playfield back up and still nothing. fuses are all good. going backwards not fixing issues that weren't bad before. is there some sort of feed that supplies power to certain components? the targets that shoot the ball when hit are dead, the flippers are dead. I reseated all jones plugs for the playfield just because. very frustrated with this game

    Quoted from EMsInKC:

It's amazing how many posts on this forum are about GP. It is so complex...
I've been fixing and restoring games for awhile and this one just intimidates me. Mine has a pristine playfield but needs a repaint. I keep.putting it off because it works great and I just know when I take it apart it won't work when I put it back together and i don't want to deal with it.

don't be fooled, half of those posts are prolly from me. it's been a true battle with this thing; BUT it's making progress step by step. im pretty new to this and this is my 3rd machine I bought that I got working myself....prolly not the smartest move on my end.

anyways; problem is fixed, on one of the jones plugs the connection broke and needs to be resoldered. I used a jumper and tried it out; back in business & onto my cam issue...(see other posts)
