Greetings and this is my first forum post. Be kind

I've finally restored my Williams Grand Prix to working order. It's set to 5 balls/game and conservative mode. I've got a copy of the instruction cards, but it says that Star 3 special adds a ball. I have the settings such that it gives a free game for the special (which is my preference). I can't seem to find any copies of the instructions where it says "free game" for Star 3. Do those exist?

Also, I cannot find out (nor do my instructions say) what the Star 4 bonus gives me? I understand stars 1 through 3, but what does 4 do? I'm having trouble getting anything out of the schematic on that (but I'm not super-savvy with reading those things). Anyone figure this out already that can educate me?

If I'm reading the schematic correctly (somewhat doubtful but hey...) it seems like a conservative setting makes Star 4 behave like Star 3 behaves now (under liberal setting). Am I reading that right?

Assuming that's right, I'd need an instruction card that states Star 4 (instead of 3) and "extra game" instead of "extra ball". I wonder if those exist?

Welcome to Pinside and congratulations on tackling Grand Prix.

Your interpretation is correct, as stated in the game manual (from IPDB.org):

Thanks Mark. Yes, I found that site (it's where I got the image from my OP). However I could only find that one instruction card. Given the permutations there surely must be 3 other variations of the card!

There are five different instruction cards in the Inkochnito web site download. Here's the direct link:

BINGO! Thank you so much. Exactly what I was looking for!

ETA: Why can't I still find this on the site?

Now I need to figure out how to print them and laminate them for some degree of authenticity. Is there already a thread on this subject? (I have to assume I'm not the first to ask).
