I’m new to pinball repair and this is my first game. Let me know if I could provide any more pictures or info.

When attempting to start a game, the credits decrement and all 3 contacts above the credit wheel push together. This doesn’t not fire the coin relay as it should in the startup sequence.

When manually pushing the coin relay, the game starts up. When pushing the middle and bottom contacts above the credit wheel together, it acts as if I were to try and start a game, but still doesn’t fire coin relay. When pushing the top and middle contacts together, nothing happens.

Welcome to Pinside!!! You're playing with the wrong sw. stack. There is another one lower and to the right. The '0' pos. sw. should be the top one and those blades need to be touching for it to start.

Here is a link to the manual, which, like all Williams manuals, is great: https://www.ipdb.org/files/1072/Williams_1976_Grand_Prix_Manual.pdf Go to p.6 for the start sequence.

And here is a link to Clay's famous EM guide, which is good for finding all the things you may not know: http://www.pinrepair.com/em/index1

And here is the IPDB link to the game, which also has the schematic: https://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=1072
