Hey pinballers,

Gamer Over Arcade of Lincoln City, Oregon is having their grand opening on Saturday, May 4th from 6:00PM to 12:00AM. Here is a little information on it: "May the 4th be with you! Game Over Arcade will have their Grand Opening on Saturday May 4th at 6pm. With over 100 new and classic arcade games and pinball machines, 9 high definition flat screen TVs, a restaurant, and a bar, everyone will have FUN! Grab some quarters and come check this place out!"

It looks like from Facebook photos that they have a Lord of The Rings, Pirates of The Caribbean, Cirqus Voltaire, Attack From Mars, No Good Gofers, Haunted House, and Batman Forever.

I'll be there. I hope other pinsiders will show up too!

Good info whitebuffalo. I'll be there in June.

I will make it if the better half wants to make a day trip to the beach. Otherwise just a little far out for me. Best of luck with Opening event.

That sounds like a good line up! I wont be able to make it for the grand opening, but I will be checking it out in June sometime.

Nice to see another great arcade opening in Oregon, maybe one of my trips to the coast this year will be North instead of south

I've been over to Lincoln City three times in the past few months and kept seeing the 'Opening Soon' signs. I keep whining "Dammit - when is it going to open?!" Then I head over to the casino arcade and play the Stern games that they so thoughtfully placed under the fluorescent overhead lights. Boo!

Thanks for the info!

I went over for the grand opening and to help fix a game. Also that is where I picked up my Mata Hari. Great place for sure. Nice people running it. Cactus Canyon is pretty cool, and the MM is working pretty good. All the rest of the games appeared to be pretty solid. Their Pirates and LOTR were the best I've ever played.

I'll try to post some picks this or next weekend because that is when I'm thinking about heading down there again.

We finally made it out here this weekend. We had a great time, vary nice (clean) place, lots of vids and a great selection of Pins. Food was good too.

We will definitely be back next time were in the area.

Has anyone been by this place recently? Any updates? I dont see it on the locations pinmap.

We have a coastal trip planned very nearby at the end of July, and it will probably rain at least once which gives me a chance to drop in.

Thanks

I have been by recently and their lineup has changed a bit,

SSPP: Plays great has some cool mods, color DMD with the cartoony style is amazing.
AFM: Has blacklight reactive play field and is really neat looking, flips great.
MM: Good looking machine, but unfortunately the Merlin hole and catapult shot both weren't registering.
AF: A new addition, looks and plays nice.
CV: Beautiful game, Ringmaster wasn't registering hits properly.
WOZ: Great condition.
Tron: Only Tron I have seen, but it looks fantastic and plays that way although there may be something off with the enforcer shot, I must have put the ball up there 10 times after the targets dropped and nothing happened.
Walking Dead: Played a couple games, played well as far as I could tell.
Batman Forever: Flippers need some love, upper flipper was sticking.
CFTBL: Didn't play this one.

Well worth the visit if you are within striking distance.
