Quoted from UberArcade:

So this is your last minute reminder to book your hotel room. The room block closes this weekend. No sense paying the full price when you can book it now at 40% off. When you finally crash at 4am after playing hours of pinball a short walk to the hotel room is the way to go. Also a hotel room is a good place to stash a cooler with all of your beer. If you wheel a cooler around the expo with you the hotel staff will complain.

Is there a cutoff for the discounted 3 day pass?

Quoted from doughslingers:

I will be at the show too with new in box Hobbit Smaug LE plus lots of pinball playfields and new glass, maybe Invisiglass if I can get some in time. I am an authorized JJP distributor and PPS so I hope to have some MMR standards. People should remember me from the great pins I woukd bring to the Louisville Expo a couple of years ago. I had the awesome ACDC Hemi Edition, Rocky and proto Woz. Anotjet year HUO TSPP and TAF and a beautiful TAF and Tron which both sold to a great guy in Alabama.
These guys are great to work with and I am gonna be putting together a great lineup of pins for everyone to see, some rare ones too like Stern NBA, Big Buck Hunter pro and CSI plus some affordable ones like Rescue 911 abd a rare prototype Hoops pinball and beside it the final production version.
Looking forward to meeting many of you again

More great pins for sure. I am really looking forward to this lineup. MMR is one of my favorite games. I can play that for hours. Hopefully I have time to play something and I am not running around like crazy all weekend.

Nope. You can get the three day pass at the door. Same price. Still discounted. Plus you get the nice lanyard instead of a wrist band.

I will still buy mine before.

Looking good so far and thanks for all your hard work!

In case you are worried about the number of machines at the show, Game Galaxy will be selling a $25 all weekend "hop" pass for all 3 days for all 3 locations locally. This is a $10 all day Free Play location normally per location, so this is an incentive specifically for those who purchase a pass for this expo.

My stores have the following:
Smyrna-200 different machines, 160 arcade, 40 pinball
Antioch-152 different machines, 72 arcade, 80 pinball
Rivergate-112 different machines, 90 arcade, 22 pinball

Each pinball machine at each location is different and I have some weird ones. I am lending a few of my machines (mostly from Antioch) to this expo. The arcade stuff is all 80s/90s classics. If you are looking for something to play most likely we have it. The Smyrna and Antioch store are 6 miles from each other. The Rivergate store is 30 miles from those. They are each around 25 miles away from Franklin where the expo is being held.

What time do you open on Friday? We get in early, would love to stop by the Antioch location. How far is it from the show?

We open at Noon on Friday in the Antioch location. Please note all the pinballs that are off work, they just need to be turned on underneath the right leg. Most likely 20 of our pins will be at this show but 60 will still in in Antioch.

#108 7 years ago

Guys take advantage of the hop pass for Game Galaxy. You will not be disappointed!

#109 7 years ago

For the out of towners, the Smyrna location has a greater selection of 80s pins. Antioch has a great mix of everything, and if I could only choose one is the one I'd go to. Can't go wrong either way.

We are driving down from Ky on Friday for the evening and Saturday. Can we get the pass at Rivergate when we're on our way down? Or is the pass only being sold at the expo? Sorry if I missed this info earlier.

#111 7 years ago

Just noticed 3 day pass for kids 6-15 is only $20. Having a good price seems like a good way to promote the event for kids.

See how far $20 goes in one of those swipe card arcades.

Thumbs up!

#112 7 years ago

I'm bringing my Tron LE, Metallica premium, and maybe my Ghostbusters premium to the expo. A little nervous about Ghostbusters, because of all the playfield problems.

#113 7 years ago

Might try to make it up , if time permits prepping several pinballs for our big tournament the following weekend at southern coin op , pinball in Pelham 2 , in Pelham ala. Hope I can catch a break and come up for the day of your tournament and play in it . Sounds like another great one to attend . Great to see another tournament in the south .and nice pins to play at the show also.

This is only for folks who pay for the actual expo as an extra incentive....it would be available at the event.

I'm bringing my 8 year old, he didn't come in last in our local tournament last month and now he has the bug...

Here is the T2 pin that will be st the show. Plays great and has some cool extra features you will enjoy when you try it at the show. New decals and some mods. Beautiful chrome sides and lockbar.

I had a terrible and tragic family death with the passing of my dad, he was 73 loved this business, especially shooting pool. He helped me to get started in this business so I am more engerized to meet many of you. His funeral was last night so I need this show to help distract my mind from all thst sadness to the thing we both enjoyed. Gonna post more of each individual pin or game coning and I promise it's gonna be fun. Yes some of the equipment is for sale am not just gonna bring all new expensive stuff.

Thanks again for everyone from Facebook for all the thoughts and prayers and thinking if you wishes, it really helps.

Thanks
Buddy

A very unique pin here called Bugs Bunny Birthday Bash. This is truly one of a kind with a unique and creative playfield layout. All your favorite Looney Tunes characters are well represented on the pin.

Most have never had a chance to play this pin and to some it's not fun but I see more leave smiling and laughing at it than upset especially in 2 player mode. It has a unique request at the end of ball 3 to give or pass a reward to yourself or the other player. Great idea as it changes the outcomes sometimes.

Had to throw just two pics of me helping but probably hurting dad get some records ready for a jukebox and him teaching me to dance while testing the records.

Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.

Please ignore the Big Betty Truck Stop can't figure out how I uploaded the incorrect picture and just tried to remove but I guess I picked the incorrect one so I was afraid to mess with it anymore.

#126 7 years ago

Tentatively planning to bring a very nice Road Show up. If I do it will be for sale. Don't have a price yet but it's got zero fish wear, LEDs, ColorDMD, LED OCD, and dynamite bundle flasher cover.

#127 7 years ago

If it doesn't sell before then, I'll be bringing my BK2k that's for sale so those who are interested can see it in person.

The trucks will be loaded down with equipment. This is a restored Williams Line Drive another one of their famous Pitch and Bat machines. This was a favorite of my dad's and with his recent passing away last Fri Oct 21 I would be honored to share his love of these types of games. It's fun to compete or just see how many runs you can score if any doing a one player version. You don't see many of these anymore but at the Grand Ole Nashville Expo this will be there. I am really trying to bring a bunch of different and unique pins and games you don't see everyday. Plesse try this out when you get time at the show. Baseball is finally king of the fall season with a great World Series between the Indians and Cubs. One city long streak will finally be over and yes I am a big Cleveland fan so go Tribe.

Pics of the actual machine coming.
Thanks again
Buddy

Here is a couple of pics of the CSI and the Big Buck Hunter Pro. As some who know me these are not ever seen by the public and are not on the showroom floor. Of course there is only so much room and I have to keep others in the showroom but I like CSI and Big Buck Hunter Pro so much I try to keep them in my top 20 overall and the temptation to sell them if nobody can see them. I know they would be hard to replace in the same condition. CSI is way under rated and again has less production than some Limited Edition pins.

The other pics show the showroom yes even with the Cleveland Browns color scheme. I know it's a terrible year for the Browns but what about the Cavs and Indians this year.

If you see something on the showroom floor ask as I coukd try to bring it. Ripley's and Southpark have been sold most others are still here or replaced with other trade ins.

More pics tomorrow.

Thanks again for the kind words about my dad. I already miss him more than I imagined as I coukd not call after tonight's terrific Indian's win 1 to 0

I would consider selling the Hobbit I am bringing to the event if anyone is interested in that.

Pinball tournament update: Looks like we'll have in the neighborhood of 70 machines, so we should have a good variety of machines to choose from for tournament play Saturday. We have had 10 players pre-register, plus we have 15 traveling from my group of which only one has pre-registered, so as it stands now I know we'll have over 20 players, probably even quite a few more.

Thanks to those of you who've pre-registered! It will make my life much easier on the day of the tournament. For those of you who know you are going to attend and would like to add your name to the tournament, you can do so here:https://matchplay.events/live/yj6d/players

Thanks players!

Yopp.

#133 7 years ago

If anybody is making last minute plans to attend the discounted room rate is still open. I got the hotel to extend it. If you book a room and the discount is not working let me know. I know a few people got a message that it had expired. It should be working again. Book by using the link on the website. http://grandoleexpo.com/hotel/

Thanks!

Is there an update on what machines are going to be at the show? How many of these machines will be unavailable due to the tournament?

Will there be any vendors doing board repairs?

Here is another pin I plan to bring to the show.
It has a colordmd and and plays great and is affordable. See you in Nashville!

Hello here is a true home use only pin from the late 1970s just look at the pics and you can see its true original condition. Again I like to bring unique and rare stuff that you can not find unless you attend one of these shows.

For some reasons a few pics from my Flintstones post are in this thread it's just like they disappeared but now they show up.

Sorry for the pics in the wrong place bit I was uploading from my phone. I will make a single post soon of all the pins but trying to show the quality that will be at the show.

Thanks for viewing

Is there an update on what machines are going to be at the show? How many of these machines will be unavailable due to the tournament?

I don't have a list of the titles that will be at the show, so I can't really speak to that. I'm only running the tournament. On the number of machines needed for the tournament, I hope to set aside 10-15 machines and still be able to finish in a reasonable amount of time (unless some unexpectedly huge number of players shows up, and in that case we'll just have to play a little longer!). So there should still be plenty of machines out on the floor open for free play.

My current plan is to look at what is there Friday, and try to find some machines from each era (EM's, 80s, 90's and newer) to pull for the tournament. I'll be looking for well maintained machines with solid flippers and playfields, etc.

I have a POTC for sale (see ad in Classifieds) for $4900 that is top-notch, all LED'd, that I could bring to the expo if I had a deal on it before hand. Additionally, I have a HEAVILY modded HUO Mustang Pro that I could also bring under the same circumstances for $4400. If pictures are not enough info, my house is about 60 minutes a way. You could look it over, play it and decide if it meets your needs.

I got a super nice Star Trek premium with lots of mods for sale $6400. I live 20-30 minutes from show. I can also meet folks who need some plating work dropped or picked up. I got lots of Stern/wms inventory and lots of shooter guns for swap. Let me know if I can help.

Would you still recommend this location if we want to play the most pins across all eras?
