I did enjoy the show also. Lots of game time and basically no waiting to play anything. Same venue next year?

Quoted from kevmad:The WW and ES appeared to be beautiful restorations. Thank you for bringing them to the show. I really enjoyed playing both of those beautiful examples.
Thanks. Just looked at the stats, each were just shy of 400 plays during the show.
The pins that stood out for me was the Bad Cats, hands down the best example I've ever seen. The playfield on that EM Bally Sky Rocket... better than new. And next to it, a great playing The Machine (on my wishlist).

The Machine played excellent. The playfield and cabinet were in pretty bad shape, but the game played absolutely perfectly. I enjoyed that one a lot. Your WW and ES were awesome. Thanks for bringing them.
Unfortunately there were many other games that played terrible. The TZ was like a competition to see who can make the slowest most floaty TZ ever. I think they had the legs in the wrong holes or something. It must have been at 5 degrees.
Thanks for the comments on The Machine guys. I just finished shopping it out the Monday before the show. I went through it with a fine tooth comb. I have a set of Mirco Rad decals for it, but just not sure if I want to get into another restoration right now. It would get a playfield also if I did that. I had some pretty decent offers on it, but I really didn’t mind bringing it home because it plays so good! Loved the Whirlwind Pencilneck

I’m a big believer in having EM’s cleared. There’s just no going back once you’ve seen and played a classic with a surface as smooth as glass and just as pretty.
I had Skyrocket on the floor at RPM as well as a Snow Derby and Out Of Sight.
More to come...

thanks for the Bad Cats praise. i went through that game a little over a year ago. was a fun project. that Earthshaker and Whirlwind was also nice man good job.
Most folks that have a love affair with CC'ing EMs get over it, and don't regret it unless
they did it to many of their games too soon before the passing of the fad in their collecting.
Also depends on which type of CC used, auto 2 part or another more to the original intent
process. Either way, enjoy them fast EMs... You are right, there is nothing like it at all.
And that is not necessarily a good thing.
