Does anyone know if and where you can purchase a new backglass

Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:I really appreciate that. Might you have one where the diode is visible to make sure I put the band on the correct side? I'm 99% sure, but I just wanna be 100% before I finalize and power up.
I don't have a pic handy that shows the diode. Found this on e-bay. The band on the diode was oriented the same way on other pics as well.

Should message him.
Packed up and heading out to get a hardtop installed.

That's actually the auction I got the 2nd coil from. All back together and working fine now.
Thanks.
Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:I just got my tracking number from BGResto for my proto glass. Took 3 months and change. I can sell my proto backglass translight if you are looking for a cheap alternative. You'll have to source a glass or plexi. I went this route until I could afford to drop the money on the BGResto. When I got my game the backglass was missing half the art.
Still have this? I may be interested
I wish someone would reproduce the proto slingshot plastics. And maybe the outline plastics as well.

Rusty plans on it, but he's a busy guy. He plans to have the whole set repro'd. Looking forward to it.

I am one step closer. Both games are fully working. Next step make a video.
RustyLizard YES! I am so looking forward to a fresh set of plastics - the original design is far superior to what was mass produced!
No one is talking about this yet?

Quoted from RC_like_the_cola:Would anyone mind snapping a clear pic of your upper left flipper coil wiring for me? I'm about to replace this thing for the second time and I don't wanna kill another coil. Thanks much.

Pinballlife has ready to go flipper mechanisms. It's a total replacement. Easy to install. I've got them in several of my older games and I have three of them in my GL.

My GL was the first game I ever restored. It's like new. Boards were replaced, displays, speakers, flipper assemblies, Comet LED's, etc. It's at the point where I'd never get back what I paid into it! But what is great is that friends can come over and play it without me having to explain auto-save, rules, etc. It's just an easy game to play and always a lot of fun. The sound track is great for a mid-80's game.
Quoted from Blackbeard:Still looking to buy if anyone wants to sell
there is one on Colorado craigslist , great price, great game if it is the one I think it is, lots of extra work on it.
Quoted from djreddog:Has anyone here installed a hard top yet?
Not on Grand Lizard, but I have done Space Shuttle and High Speed.
Just ordered one for my Time Warp.
Great products and I'm very happy with them.
My Grand Lizard playfield is in great shape and does not need a Hardtop. If my playfield was trashed, I would order one in a second.

Pretty weird "custom upper pf art".

Mines in the process of being converted. Didn’t know if I was one of the first ones to do a GL or not.
My Grand Lizard hard top is finally installed.

I will be looking to sell one of my two Grand Lizard pins. Both currently are in the hands of Rich Huff at Midwest Pinball. The one up for sale has typical worn upper playfield but Im working with him to most likely have a hard top installed as part of the restoration process. Game will be shopped, LED'd cabinet touched up (its in pretty nice shape as is).
I will stay in touch with the group here once both restorations are complete. I will obviously post the GL that I will be selling here for interested members.
Does anyone know of the prototype plastics ever got reproduced for this game? Asking for a friend...

Planetary Pinball has them

Those aren't the prototype plastics. Those are the originals.
Quoted from MANTO1975:Planetary Pinball has them [quoted image]
That's not the proto plastics.
Nothing has happened yet with the plastics. I have the standard and Proto both fully working and next to each other. Next step is to make a dideo documenting the differences with my friend Jeremy at Pinball Mayhem.
Under the current circumstances I have just been laying low waiting for the world to open up again.
Quoted from practicalsteve:Wasn’t someone going to make new Lizard heads? Whatever happened to that?
Rick!

Same here pretty much, dunno what happened to Pinfatuated, not a word for like 15 months now. Starting to wonder if i should either try and get them printed myself or just give the file out for free so others can print them themselves, shame to just let them sit and rot away into obscurity.
Quoted from psd4me:Those aren't the prototype plastics. Those are the originals.
sorry, my bad, missed the prototype...
Quoted from CashMoney:Alright who got this?
Looks badly warped/melted.... Hard pass.
Quoted from mattosborn:Looks badly warped/melted.... Hard pass.
Oh snap! I didn't even notice that...
I REALLY wish that piece would be reproduced as I have had an ad in the Marketplace for years, now with no luck.
The one on my machine is ROUGH and not much better than that one that sold on eBay.
@rustylizard, you're killing me with that stash!
Quoted from RustyLizard:Seems that no two are the same color.
Weird. Only color I’ve seen is the one you have installed.
Delaware Pinball is streaming GL right now on Twitch! Stop by and say hi!
Anyone have system 11 (specifically #grand-lizard) cabinet dimensions WxHxD on the body & header (rounded up the nearest half-inch or something) ? Trying to see if I can fit one into my vehicle or trailer, with the headerbox removed.
Can't seem to find anything other then "general dimensions" for pins overall on the intertubes. :-/
Thanks
Quoted from Ghostly:Anyone have system 11 (specifically #grand-lizard) cabinet dimensions
The cabinet itself with no head on it is 52"L X 22"W X 23.75"H (maximum height where head mounts)

Thank you sir!
