Quoted from crazi:What is a good external PSU for this burner?
I'm curious about this too. I'd love to be able to program older EPROM chips that require 21v Vpp. Do I just need a 24v power adapter to do this? Can anyone share their setup?

Quoted from barakandl:look at the sticker on the back of the GQ4x. I think it is 9vdc. I had a wall wart from an old no longer used product.
A powered USB hub seems to work fine too.
So you are able to get higher Vpp with the addition of the 9vdc wall wart? I would like to be able to program 2716s that require 25v Vpp.
