Read some other threads and heard conflicting information about what wire guages are used in Gottlieb pins.

Mid '70s - say Sky Jump.

I have measured 20 guage wire for the 25V, cloth colored wires - does this sound right? Must be 20 guage for the 6V too right? What guage for line voltage (plastic covered)?

Another question... We're different guages used in different decades? (Thanks Pinside experts! - newb trying to learn here)

I don't know about mid 70s Gottliebs in particular, but I'm pretty sure I've seen several different gauges of wire used in EM games. If nothing else you'd probably want heavier wire for the (black and red-white?) 25V supply rails since each active coil would add an amp or two to the current load on the wire closer to the transformer. I think individual controlled bulbs used thinner than average wire too since they draw only 1/4 amp for a #44 bulb.
