I am bringing a Gottlieb Genesis back to life.
I am having a problem with getting the row of 67 bulbs to light up.
I have never seen them come up during play. On both games I have had.
I found the 2 AUX driver boards. One for the Lights around the robot the other for the string of lights above the boards in the back box
What triggers the AUX driver board?
I have 5v at the connector and I see ground goes threw a relay.
We're is the LAMP RELAY ( LIGHT BOX) located?

There's a relay under the playfield that activates them. Additionally, power passes through a large 7W resistor under the playfield, and those are sometimes a source of problems.
I am having the same issue did you ever get it solved or at least find some kind of answer, I have 5 volt for the swt at that relay power to the lights but nothing from the aux boards and they appear to be working when I swap them out into another machine. and the 7watt resister, where is that if that's the one of the 3 concrete ones off to the far right almost directly across from the relay mine are all 4 watt maybe that's it anyway any insight would sure help. It is a minor issue but I hate it when things don't work.

Same problem on my Genesis as well. Doesn't seem like any progress has been made. I've been restoring a Genesis over the past couple weeks and this is one of my last check-boxes. I'm going to look at some of the things suggested here and report back. I don't want to revive a zombie thread, but this seems to be the exact problem that I've got.
