Monte Carlo
Gottlieb, 1987Still having problems with my system 80b Monte Carlo. Game presses up but targets don’t reset and ball coil doesn’t kick ball in line to start game. I tried 2 different mpu boards. All fuses r fine checked with meter pulled each one out. Any idea. What is going on. I tried to upload a vid. But for some reason it won’t give me option for vid. Thank u. In advance. Sounds mechanical.
Can you lift up the playfield and hit start and see visually what the ball kicker does or tries to do? Maybe it's stick or gummed up. Maybe it's hitting something. Maybe the wires are disconnected?
As for the drops, do they attempt to spring back into place at all and they just aren't catching? There should be a way to adjust that with a phillips. Unless I'm thinking of your problem incorrectly.
