Hi all! recently started shopping and fixing my MGOW
Boards are factory, voltage is spot on, ground mods have been done.
Only things not working are the extra ball,special and match feature.
Ive got them turned on with the dip switches. when extra ball or special is lit,
triggering the switch(s) activates scoring with no extra ball awarded and no sounds.
playfield switches work with sound during normal play, just not when extra ball or special is lit.
Ive used my mpu from black hole and everything works perfect with it installed.
Ive tested the dips with my meter and they are working perfectly.
Ive desoldered, socketed and replaced the 7404 at z14 as it is the first chip after the dips. no luck.
its as if the board is not recognizing the dip position?
looking for ideas on what to test/replace at this point?
any help from our system 80 experts would be greatly appreciated.
Logic probe is MIA at this point but my multimeter is functioning and present.

I replaced knocker coil (was burnt)and tested transistor.
It doesn’t work unless I ground the tab on transistor.
I believe 20 is on, allowing novelty play?
I’ll check again this morning.
