Cue Ball Wizard
Gottlieb, 1992Very confused about this one... it makes no sense.
Some sockets on my Sys 3 (Cue Ball Wizard) won't light with LEDs, but will light with 44/47 bulbs installed. Other sockets ON THE SAME BOARD will light with LEDs. Other boards won't work at all with LEDs.
I tried swapping out different LEDs from different manufacturers, and it doesn't make a difference.
What gives? I'm stumped by this one.
Could be the old "only use non-polarized LED bulbs in GS3's" issue. I had the same issue with my SF2 using super cheap LED (I think Ablaze 1's?). You'll get one socket working, then the other sockets on the light board won't work with the other LED bulbs.
Also be aware that most LED's in GS3s ghost like crazy...I haven't bothered getting around to figuring out LED's for my SF2, so I can't honestly recommend a brand for you. There's a thread somewhere on here with someone that LED'd out their SF2.

New to the Sys 3-- so I'm not aware of this. Anybody got backstory or a link?
I am aware of the ghosting issues, and in the places I'm putting them, that doesn't matter. I won't be using them in the places that do matter
