Gottlieb, 1992I have a Super Mario Bros. that I am thinking about operating on location. I need to replace the coin door as mine is some foreign import. Any advice or pitfalls on replacing a Gottlieb System 3 coin door? Are there replacement parts available by one of the vendors or should I find an old coin door on a project machine to swap in?
Im kinda in the same boat. I am restoring a street fighter, and I have found that I am missing some of the coin door parts. The orignal coin doors were made by Coin Controls/Wells Garnder. Happ has some of the old parts still available on their website. If you want to swap out the door for a new one, about the only thing you may run into issues with is how to mount the slam tilt switch.
