I am trying to fill some holes in my understanding of Gottlieb System 1 Relays and how they are powered. I think I have it right but the schematics are unclear.
So from the schematic it's easy to see where solenoid power enters and where it returns to the driver board. What isn't so clear is what's going on in the upper right of the schematic. My guess is it's the power feed to the flipper switches. If this is the case this would indicate to me a few things:
1. The Q and T relays can be activated at any time regardless of the other relays state.
2. Both relays need to be activated to get power to flippers, pops etc....
I modified the playfield solenoid drawing for Genie to help me get it right. Can someone tell me if this is correct?
