This is for Count-Down, for the big transistors on the bottomside of the playfield, driving the drop target reset coils. The Pinball Resource, which references it as "XO310", seems to be out of it. Marco's references it as "XO799"; what's with the different reference ID?
X0310 is the Gottlieb part number.

Between the 2 they have 5 unique part numbers listed. I'd go with whichever you find the cheapest.
MJ2955 is a common and still manufactured replacement.
2N5875 = PNP, VCEO = 60V, IC = 10A, VCEsat = 1.0V, gain = 20 min
2N5879 = PNP, VCEO = 60V, IC = 15A, VCEsat = 1.0V, gain = 20 min
2N5880 = PNP, VCEO = 80V, IC = 15A, VCEsat = 1.0V, gain = 20 min
MJ2955 = PNP, VCEO = 60V, IC = 15A, VCEsat = 1.1V, gain = 20 min
They're all quite close in specs and any of them will work.
Beware of all ebay parts - more fakes than real ones anymore.
