Hi guys,

I am asked to work on an Excalibur.
Issue is pretty clear: switch matrix seems gone.
"all switch open"
None are responding (except the test switch)

Anyone would have an idea on what to check more?

I always start this investigation by diode testing Z11-Z15.
Hopefully, the damage was absorbed by one of those ICs and U4 escaped damage.
I don't remember if Excalibur has kicking targets or not.
Kicking targets are always suspects for damage to the switch matrix. The "fish paper" becomes displaced, and coil power shorts to the switch matrix. Coin drop switches are also suspect.
