Tired of pissing with this junk maybe someone has an idea I didn't look at yet ....... Have a gott sys 3 gladiators here ... That immediately roasts Q1 mosfet and fuse ..... Here's what was done
Coil and diode ...New
Q1 mosfet NEW
74273 driving mosfet NEW

Went down the same path prob 6-8x with this already ...

First changed mosfet kept roasting it
Changed diode on coil roasted another mosfet
Changed coil and diode roasted another mosfet
Verified wiring on coil each time still roasting mosfets
I'm out of mosfets and so is my local parts house. In a pinch for time to get this back out on the street I've been paying $9 ea out the ass getting the on eBay it's now getting outa control ......: what the hell is going on here that I'm not seeing

Have you done all the recommended ground mods? Seems you may be getting a voltage spike if you have that much heat to keep cooking the mosfet.
Got some pics of board and connectors you can post?
I'm thinking someone here will see something you missed.

Post a photo of the MOSFET on the board.

Are you sure you wired the coil diode correctly? Mis-wiring it will immediately take out the MOSFET.
