Hey guys-

Just finished doing a topside shop out on a Tee’d off, now whenever I try to turn the game on I get GI, humming from the speakers, no display from the dmd and no activity lights on the circuit boards.

I metered F5, and noticed it was dead. Swapped it out with another slow blow, and noticed that died right away too.

Any thoughts on how to troubleshoot? I have an another system 3 here if I need to try and swap parts.

Oh- and also to note- game worked when I picked it up, but didn’t test it when I got home. I have to take the heads off to get into my basement, but I’m 95% confident my connectors are good.

If it helps, here are some of the things I’ve done:

Swapped in comet LEDs
Replaced rubbers
New coin battery holder
Rebuildt flippers (on the bench, removed from game)
Standard playfield/metal/plastic polishing

Well- I’m an idiot, a tired tired idiot…

I had the A5 and A8 plug swapped. Noticed the display fuse was toast too and looked closer at my plugs.

Fuses FTW! I’m glad my swap wasn’t more disastrous, got lucky there. Next house requirements, walk out basement, so I don’t have to keep taking these heads off
