I was reading this very informative post on System 1 upgrades
http://stevekulpa.net/pinball/jppbdb.htm
I just so happened to have 4 or so of these Sys 80 Pop Bumper boards and a parted out Sys 80 wiring harness with plenty of connectors and wire. I wanted to try this on a Close encouters I recently have been shopping out. Currently running a Pascal board with a +5 and a ground off the PX 4 outputs. What a difference! It really makes an incredible change in the feel of the game. No more soft miniscule hits, full strike every time. Plenty of room underneath the Close Encounters playfield.
