Surfer
Gottlieb, 1976just finishing up a gottleb surfer, have a couple of questions.
When bonus is counted down, I am always 1000pts short. Some games when it goes through the reset or when the ball drains the bonus unit goes to "zero" then steps up to 1000. Should surfer do the same?
What is this light called in the schematic? When is it supposed to come on? I have it where it comes on sporadically I think.

Yes, it’s the #1 top rollover light. It should come on at the start of every ball. The KS relay controls which one of the 5 top rollover lanes is lit. The spinner causes the KS relay to advance, thus moving the lit lane to a new position. At the start of every ball, the KS relay fires as needed to move the lit lane to be the #1 lane. Think of it as the skill shot for the plunge.
If you have it set to 3-ball, the #2 lane will always be lit.
