My four-player Gottlieb Super Soccer is missing piece of hardware under ball trap that activates the switch, see pics, someone has created a homemade solution, again see pic, can anyone advise the name of the part I need to acquire? In this homemade solution the wooden piece has a hole in which a plastic tube sits, when the ball enters the trap the tube activates the switch, works but would prefer to correct.

    Thanks for your consideration,

    Matt

That bare piece of wood, looks like a makeshift scenario. Doesn't look original

    - hole base plate c-15707(yours missing)
-switch blade stack missing? My super soccer looks to be B-16182 only difference at the end of Last switch myn has a paper switch blade so it doesn't arc out.

Me personally I would call Steve at *pinball resource* you will need screws to mount switch blades and hole base plate, plus if you look at my switch blade assembly(the way it's mounted ) you will need some spacers like how myn is shown. Other than that see if we missed something else?

Different angle pic on my set-up below, from the pictures of your machines you all have provided it seems I’m missing the base plate and switch arm, I appreciate the help once again.

PS - the existing wooden-piece/plastic tube hack does work, if anyone is stuck without the correct parts.

You can also look at the other two kickers on the playfield if you need a reference for how it would look factory. Even though yours is “hacked” it looks like it gets the job done.

If you buy replacement parts be sure to sand the plastic a bit or dremel some spots as the molding leaks a little bit causing the two pieces not to mesh perfectly and needing a bit of force to find it’s way to resting position. The leaf switch is supposed to be enough force for this.
