Gottlieb, 1995I have a Stargate where today the two bank drop targets do not reset up after dropped during the ball in play. Once the ball drains, they will reset for the next ball, or they will reset upon a new start or upon power cycle.
Also, for the first time since owning the game (10+ years) the DMD “sometimes” takes a minute to actually display. It always displays eventually and it is never scrambled.
Ideas, especially on the drop target issue.
Display is starting to outgas possibly. Check the switches as one of them may not be reading on the drops. That game uses a common wire on the drop banks to link the drops together. Use active switch test and walk though one by one knocking each drop down and you will find one not reading cleanly.
