Does anyone have a Spy Hunter machine that you could put pics up of the flipper coils and their wiring? Having the hardest time undoing someone else's spaghetti and figuring out the way this thing is supposed to be.

Yea all of them. lol Somebody really messed things up on this machine and the schematics are hard to read and very vague as far as the wiring for the flipper coils.

One thing I've noticed is that the EOT switch on the main flippers also triggers the upper flippers. Make sure they are adjusted right. All the coils are constantly supplied with 43v DC with the brown wire and the game gives the other side of the coil a ground to complete the circuit. Left is green/red and right is the white/orange i think? I noticed that when i hold down the flipper button and manualy actuate the main flippers it triggered the upper flippers so i am pretty curtain its the main flipper coils both left and right.

Awesome awesome awesome, thank you so very much. This will help me out tremendously. I should be getting the new coils tomorrow or the next day. I will post my results when i do. It looks like that is how i have it wired but will cross reference it to these pictures today just to be sure.

Well, here are the results.... Game is working perfectly. Put in the new coils and discovered that it was the EOT switch. At rest, the eot energizes both winding's in the coil awaiting the negative trigger from the driver board to fire and mine were not conducting when closed. So after a quick nail filing, all is at peace with the world. Thank you again for the picks they were very helpful in easing my troubled mind. This forum and its members are great.
