Hello, I have been restoring a Southern Belle and it is almost done. Its all running, working, and scoring correctly except it wont go to game over. At the completion of the 5 balls it will not give me another ball but with the glass off scoring continues and flippers are still active. I don't know but I don't think that is correct. Any help on this would be awesome but unfortunately I have no schematics but this must be a common thing with the older wood rails. Thank you.

Thank you but this is a Tech forum and everyone should see the post. Why do you want me to send you the schematics?

Without a ‘game over’ in the backglass, and it being a woodrail, I wouldn’t doubt it.

Have you checked the switches in the 'played balls' trough?

This is normal as I don’t think there’s a game over relay on Southern Belle (as is true for many machines from that era). This can be confirmed by looking at the schematic.

I do know there is not a game over or light bulb for it in back box.

From IPDB. But I do not think scoring should continue.

Excellent. I'm thinking the game is done. If the playfield glass was on no one would no after 5 balls scoring could still happen. Only a tech. On to the next machine.
