Hi again,
So I am jamming on this machine, (My First Gottlieb) which seems to have a couple issues. One of them is the TILT light is on... and there seem to be 3 or 4 tilt switches. I have checked them all, but none of them are contacting. Any ideas?

If you are referring to the switches in the game that can cause a tilt, here is what is on the schematic. The one on the board with the motor is suppose to be normally closed. The one on the coin door is also suppose to be normally closed. The one in the backbox is to be normally closed.

(2 of the switches mentioned above, are on the schematic as the Bounce Switch and the Anti Cheat Switch)

There is also one attached yo the bottom of the playfield that is normally open along with the pendulum and the ball switch near the left flipper button that are normally open.

If you're talking about when you power up the game, that is normal Gottlieb operation.

so that should go away after reset?

wow, and one on the playfield too... so, going by memory (no machine at work) does the pendulum act as the switch or is there an actual switch?

The pendulum is a switch in itself. When it makes contact, tilt.
