Gents,

Am currently working on a 1975 Gottlieb Atlantis.

Question regarding the position of the third leaf switch (top '9' position). Is the leaf supposed to be above the wire lever as seen in the picture?

2 reels in my machine have the leaf under the wire lever while 1 has the leaf over.

What is correct?

Thanks

Above is correct. Do the other two reels work?

one of the reels does not move at all (tenths) while the other reel (thousandths) try's to reset continually. My hundredths reel resets just fine.

Thanks for the confirm.

All reels have been rebuilt and switches adjusted correctly. Reels reset now. Thanks all.

Further question.

When I turn on the machine, lights come on in the back box, I hit replay button but nothing occurs (score motor does not turn).

When I touch the S relay (it energizes), score reels reset, hold relay works, score motor continues to run.

The interlocking relay (aka Complete Reset Relay) wont lock, I have to manually adjust then game is ready to play.

Game is set to free play, ball unit works as it should, AS relay works as it should.

Am assuming there is a switch on the score motor that might be out of adjustment?

Thoughts?

Thanks

Quoted from WhiskeyPinball:

I hit replay button but nothing occurs

If the Start Relay (S) doesn't activate when you press the Replay Button, Inspect and diagnose this circuit with Alligator clip jumper wires

Thank you. Will do this tonight and report back.

Just FYI, those flat-faced score reels belong in earlier Gottlieb games. Atlantis uses the round kind introduced in 1971.

EDIT: I understand now that pic is not from your game. Never mind.
