I used to have a Rock and had it for over 20 yrs. The one thing I read online was that the grounds by the transformer were not very effective and could cause various issues. They suggested re-doing those so they had a strong tight connection. Once I did that it worked much better. Todd Tuckey did a video on it... It helped my machine.
