That's the reset board you don't really need it in a home setting. I always leave mine disconnected , it can cause problems with the old caps etc on it. It isn't causing your sound issue. Mike

I should mention you want to leave the connector on the mpu. It has a resistor or 2 on it the mpu needs in circuit.
