Anyone know of where to get the snap into PCB hole stand offs Gottlieb used in the 80s and 90s?

    Gottlieb Part Number is 23984
Manufacturer number may be SRS-8-6N per some parts listings, but I can't find anything on the web using that.

Gottlieb PCB hole size appears to be 6mm (maybe 1/4" hole)
    diameter 7mm
    total height 12.5mm
Collar / pcb support edge height is 9.4mm

I see PB resource has old stock, but I would like to buy a bag of 1000pcs or something to include with new boards. People can always reuse the originals, but they go missing. Backup plan is just the really cheap straight columns to be used only when the originals are lost, but it makes mounting a bit more tedious.

    Quoted from bluespin:

barakandl Andrew, are you making all of the Gottlieb system 3 boards? Any others like 80B MPUs?
greatwichjohn Sourced a lot of plastic lenses when he made plastics. John, I've heard of Foremost Plastics. Any other plastics manufacturers that can make plastic standoffs?

I just remade about every pf board that I found in a sys 3 world challenge soccer. Opto, diode, flip sense, filters and etc. Going after low hanging fruit. I can do these boards easily. Mpu's have a lot more development. 80 (b) mpu is on my list. Edge connectors make that one attractive for automated smt assembly.

    Quoted from G-P-E:

I used to buy all my plastics from "Micro Plastics, Inc" but they got bought out by Essentra. I haven't bought any plastics since Essentra bought them but will need to do so soon.
    Essentra part number SRS8-6-01
    Mouser has these at $300/1000.

Thank you. With a manufacturer and part number I will be able to find them. Should have tried some wild cards searching with the Gtb part number, it was close.

    Essentra...

I am pretty sure they where marked as "in stock" when i bought them. The invoice and paperwork I received from them indicated ship date as the same day. After a couple weeks realized the package never showed up and start looking for it. I check online and it says "in production". Not sure yet if it is 1 month or 6 month delay yet. I looked online at reviews and found shipping delays are pretty normal from this company.
