I have had this game playing nicely for a good number of weeks now. I decided to replace all the bulbs today and well, now the score motor is running...

The R relay (Hold Relay) energizes and holds.
I start a game and the Score Motor starts.
Both the 10 and 11 banks reset.
The Ball Release energizes and holds.

That's the right first step. Which of those switches is closed? If you're not sure, you could block them with bits of paper.

Mark,

I just checked every relay condition while its running. W, O, J, H, DB, & SB were all off and/or not latched. I then I tripped the Score Motor off with the Tilt. I held Motor 1C in and as I released it, it stopped. I held each relays W, O, J, H, DB, & SB in individually and the motor would run until I released them or unlatched them.

I can try to isolate each contact with post it paper but I would have thought I already had this covered by doing the above but it would certainly make it clear with no doubt that something foreign has entered the circuit somewhere.

I wish I had you and the guys on video chat. This would be entertaining.

Did anything else change when you tilted the game? Sounds like that changed something. Watch the other relays to see if any of them change.

Failing that, use the paper to block switches. Also check the solder tabs and wire ends of the switches that can run the motor to make sure nothing is touching.

Sounds like a good idea: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/an-em-pinball-online-repair-clinic

TB is the Tilt Circuit, DB is Reset Relay, J is the Hole Score Relay.

Wait, the Ball Release just energized... its playing now. I can't get it to fail again. I have played five games in succession now. No issues. I don't know what to do now but wait.
