Did Gottlieb really use 31" legs on multiplayer machines up until the deeper cabinets like Spirit of '76 started? I figured out my wedgehead had the wrong sized legs once I put it in wedgehead row at a show and quickly fixed that problem by buying legs there but is it true the multiplayer games used them too?
All of my Gottlieb multiplayers have 28-or-whatever-inch-legs, crazy how they all ended up with the wrong legs if that's true but I guess that's pinball.
If true, I think I'm going to stick with the shorter legs on the multiplayer machines anyways. Saves a ton of money since I have so many and I think it looks a little less odd. They look sharp on the wedgeheads but in my opinion it looks kind of funny on the multiplayer games, having them raised up that high. I noticed it gives the game an entirely different feel and I think I also prefer the better view from up higher anyways.
