Here is a picture under the playfield...

Is it the left switch with white wires means at the wrong place?

Yes it's the left switch with white wires.. I cant locate it's original mounting position.

As you can see on your 1st picture, white wires are strap with others, so it seems at the right place, the problem is that your solenoid isn't the same. You'd better put an original one and fix the switch on the original braquet, or make a part that activate the switch when the solenoid is activate.

After a better look I see the real problem...the central ramp is cut on your pinball and the blue solenoid might not be there and was probably added to the game...dont know why. You might form a plate in a sin aluminium or stainless steal plate to reproduce this ramp and make an elongated hole to put the little braquet (same as nearest switches on ramp) than activate your misplaced switch)...good luck

Yes...it looks like they replaced the center gobble hole with a pop bumper, or maybe converted it to a rudimentary kickout hole...what's the topside of your PF look like? Have you compared that to IPDB's pics of those topsides?

    #8 4 months ago

Yes, that's look like a kickout hole, but I don't have this pinball and on IDPB we only see a hole at the center of the playfield...

I agree benhurr - they cut the center subway ramp that returns the ball from the center gobble hole, and that switch the OP was asking about used to be on the cut-out portion of that. So I'm assuming they did that so they could turn it into a pop bumber(that's what it looks like from the bottom to me). I was just speculating it could also be a kickout hole, but from those views the OP provided it doesn't look like the right hardware for a normal kickout assembly.

So I was wondering what the topside of the OP's PF looks like...I'm hoping they're able to reverse that hack, and REALLY curious about what that hack is exactly.

    Here are some more pics,
The switch is for the second center 100 point.
I would like to take the ramp apart and get a better look at the switch that was installed.. not my pin I may ask the owner.

I think it could be a great upgrade if the ball is directly launch on the playfield instead of going down under the apron and have to wait to be replayed. But only if it's works fine...

I didnt remove the ramp to look closer but got a glimpse of the modification, looks well done. Also curious to see the game play being modified. I have more to do to and will post if anything different shows up.

Just an update, the game is up and running and the
Kick out modification is working good. Fun pinball game to play.
