Hi everyone, been running circles on an issue with my Top Hand (CaptainCard AAB) EM that is energizing both coils at the same time in the latch relay "A" as soon as I power on. It's a 1973 machine before the Ax combination so it still has the metal latches and normal size switches.

All I did was replacing 2 cooked A-9738 coils with 2 new A-9740 (correct ones) and re-adjusting the switches because of the slight coil size change even without the original washer.

What I tried so far:

- double-checked my previous changes during my 2 coils replacement for the drop target bank bonus hold relays.
- measured the latch relay A-3891 coils and both measure ~16 ohm and I read in various sources these measure around 14-15.

To my understating this type or "alternate" relay should just use one coil at the time and not both. First it would latch on and keep this state without keeping the coil activated as its not a hold type. And once the game is over, it would disengage the latch firing off the second coil.
