I had the same problem on the same game. Are sure that the ball count unit is clean and operates smoothly. If it is the least bit sluggish, it won’t move to the end of game position before the kicker fires. Also make sure the score motor switch 1A isn’t gapped too wide. It’s basically a race between that bal count unit incrementing and the circuit that kicks out the ball.
