Here is a link to see the problem

Every time I touche pop bumper except one , one particular sound always restart again and again.

We can see the upper pop on the main playfield dont activate the sound but all the other one do ..

Any idea where this problem come from ...

The game have Pascal Janin board and i am currently in discussion with him concerning the problem

Maybe its coming from the sound board ...

I have the same problem, but mine is restarting off any switch triggered

Pascal Janin told me it was maybe a problem with the sound board ? Do you have the Janin board too , never tried another sound board ??

None of those pops should play that particular sound.
IIRC, that's the game startup sound.

With the game turned off, reseat the connector on the sound board several times.
Do the same for the connector(s) on the left side of the driver board.
Retest.

Let us know.

It's tough to say much more since you have a Pascal board in it.
I'd like to hear from other folks who are running the Pascal board in HH to see if they have the same issue.

I will make the test but the board is freshly repaired by Pascal and 100 % OK

Just reseated both connectors a several time , still the same problem.

I had a very weird bug a few games ago , all the sound was fucked up and playing like on fast forward.

When it happened i just restarted the pin and it was gone but very weird ..

You can compare the sounds you're getting with various YouTube vids.
Sound is pretty simple with HH although the sound board itself is a bit of a nightmare.
The MPU can command 31 separate sounds via a 5 bit pattern.
If one of the bits is missing from the interface, the wrong sound would play. You'd notice more incorrect sounds than you might have.

You can check with John's Jukes over in Vancouver if you want to keep it in Canada.
Or you can send it to me for checkout/repair.
Drop me a PM if you want to send it to me in St. Louis, Missouri.

I want to say it's just a stock one

Check diodes on that pop. If the sound being played is the start up sound, then when the pop is energized/path to ground (when the switch is activated), it is resetting the sound card possibly, You could also try floating the audio board, see if it is a ground issue with the audio.
