Does anyone have one of these beasts that might be able to give me a quick and dirty relay map? Nearly all of the labels on mine are gone which is making understanding the schematic a bit problematic

I'm not sure if these old machines ever came with manuals. PBR lists only schematics available, which I do have. I can work it out by wire color, but that will be painful given the generally filthy state of the harness and the obligatory wiring hacks, etc.

Thanks!

No manuals, only schematics.

Other clues to relays are available though. The schematic lists the coil part number, and this number is stamped onto the coil base (where the lugs are). The other clue is the number and type of contacts. The schematic will have a column that lists the quantity and type; A=normally open; B=normally closed; C=make/break.

So if you want to correlate a coil, check the coil number and the switch config. Then in the case of a tie, can use the wire color to distinguish.

you mite try washing the wires with alcohol and a tooth brush. that sometimes helps.
just make sure to dry them with compressed air afterwards.
