In the photo is relay P, the series relay. There are 2 contacts, but the leaf spring to the far right doesn't have the circular contact that would make a connection to the other leaf spring. The schematic says contacts 2A. I'm new at schematic reading, this is my first attempt. The 2 means two normally open switches? I'm thinking the right spring is missing it's contact on the far right. Thank you.

You are correct. 2A refers to 2 normally open contacts/switches. The leaf (spring) which is missing the contact will need to be replaced.

Or replace the missing contact in the leaf (spring) after sanding the little hole until shiny.
