I have a '77 Mustang that I've put a fresh rebuild kit into but I'm experiencing a binding issue on one side where the flipper only pulls back slowly. I'm not familiar with these types of mechs specifically where the flipper bat goes through multiple points but where should I be looking to find where it's binding?

    Thanks.

The spring is the mirror image of the other side. The set screw is different, maybe I'll change that.

    Quoted from MikeO:

A-15529 is the upper. A-17565 is the lower.

I had no idea! Thanks, I'll check that!

Okay, so I finally got around to checking this out, and all four bushings are identical. The binding is somewhere in the mech itself, as I tried swapping the flippers and moving the bushings around with no change.
