Hello all, I purchased a Gottlieb Flip A Card a few months back and had an issue spring up that I cannot seem to figure out.
The 50pt relay in the bottom of the machine, when activated either through a target or manually by hand, will award 50 points, but it will also activate the solenoid for relay #5 and relay #7 in the card relay bank attached to the bottom of the playfield.

So whenever a target for the card bank is hit, it activates that card, plus #5 and #7. Anyone have any ideas what is going on? I cant seem to find any wires that are touching that would be closing the circuit to even activate the other 2 numbers like it is.

Ok, so one of the problems was as you described. A few of the target leaf switches were closed when they should of been open.
So no the 7 does not trip when the 50py relay is activated.

New problems are persisting though. When the #5 relay is tripped, it takes #7 with it. When #10 is tripped, it takes #8 with it.
#8 target scores 50pts but does not activate its #8 relay in the target bank.
#6 switch trips #3 relay, scores no points.
Ace switch does nothing.

Excellent, you were right on! I switched it over to a 5 ball game and each target lights up its corresponding light now. Just have to figure out why the 8 target and ace roll over are not doing anything and it will be 100%. Thanks so much for your help. Just your two suggestions fixed almost everything.
