It's a very good video of 1993. In the first part we visit the factory, in the second Jon promoted the recent models and explains some game techniques.
Great
The video was posted on a Facebook group (don't recall which one) so I can't take credit for finding it Just sharing for all the Gottlieb fans out there...
Jon Norris seems like a cool dude. I'd like to see him take a crack at designing a new game. I always thought his designs had some creative elements, just sometimes half baked due to significant constraints at Gottlieb.
This is pretty cool! I'll have to take the time to watch the whole video soon.
Also, I wonder if the "long term project" Jon Norris mentioned was Stargate. Would make a lot of sense if that was the case!

He seems like it for sure. Must have been a good player too just like he says. He played in two events in 91 and 92, both major events (IFPA World Championships and Expo Flip Out Tournament) and he won them both.

Looks like he worked for Stern for a few years and is still doing pinball design on his own now...
Very cool! Loved seeing my Wipeout on the production line! Why they couldn't show more of that is a shame.
I'm just working on a street fighter for a client. Maybe it's the same one in the vid. I have to say system 3 gottliebs are built like a tank. Supreme engineering on the assys. They work forever when gone through.

It was the game currently in production and still somewhat of a secret at the time since it had not yet been officially released.
Did anyone else catch the part where john said he had 75 pre 1965 pins Or maybe my hearing is bad...
Thanks for the link!
