I have a Gottlieb Dragon that is missing the tones/chime board. I'm trying to find an original one, but I'm probably better off buying a newer modern one. Same with the speaker. A mouse must have gotten to the original speaker and chewed the cone, so I'm also searching for a new speaker. I'm also trying to find an original one, but I might want to upgrade this as well. Thoughts? Am I just better upgrading both parts? If so, any suggestions or links of what to get?

You might get lucky on a used chime box.

The speaker on the other hand, it's just best to get a new one. Speakers go bad after a while and the materials haven't changed much after all these years.

Try contacting The Pinball Resource first and see what they have available. They specialize in Gottlieb replacement parts.

I concur. Iā€™d go chimes!!
For a speaker a cheap replacement is easy to find ~$20
