I have a Gottlieb Magnotron EM with a bad coil in one of the Decagon score wheels. The coil reads infinite resistance and the plunger is stuck or frozen in the solenoid. I have a correct replacement A-9154 coil. Can I replace the coil without completely removing the score wheel. I would prefer doing it while the wheel is still soldered to the chassis (I of course know I will need to de-solder the old coil and re-solder the new one). Just trying to avoid removal of the 20 or so wired connections to the wheel.
    Thanks in advance,
    Tom

You do not need to unsolder wires to take apart the score reel for cleaning or in your case replacing the coil. You can just stand behind the machine and do the work.
