Hello folks. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way that I can make the ball in play display any brighter. The number shown is very dim. Is there an associated capacitor that might make this occur? All the connections are good. I did the 12 volt charge method to the larger displays where you apply 12 volts to the 2 outer pins on the displays and it did help them some but I was told that you can't do that with the smaller display for the Ball in play. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

recharging the smaller display works the same way but you use a lower voltage. if you have a power supply you can control voltage and monitor the current easier with around 9V but even a 9 volt battery should work. i alway did in very low light and make sure the filaments do not go past a nice orange color.

Thanks for the info. I tried it with a 9 volt battery but didn't see much of a change.
