Recently purchased a Card Whiz and High Hand, my first EMs. I was cleaning the player unit on Card Whiz and removed the rotating wiper disc without marking its position first. How should this disc be oriented relative to the cams? Is this something I should be able to figure out from the schematic? The manual indicates home position for the cams, but not the rotating disc.

The game has some other issues I'll need to resolve, so I can't just use trial and error until I get it.

Card Whiz will be a continuous stepper. Step until the last cam on rear is on the raised part of cam. This is the player 1 ball 1 position, so align disc on the player 1 ball 1 rivet.

Thanks - I don't know where to find what all of the rivets are for. Is the circled rivet in this picture player 1 ball 1?

Should be, apply 6v from a GI string to that circled spot and see if ball one lights up. If you look at the back of the disk you'll see that that inner circle of paired rivets are ganged to 1 lead. 2nd pair ball 2, 3rd pair ball three etc etc The middle circle has two sets of paired rivets, suggesting last ball for ball three (3 ball mode) or last ball at 5th ball since they are at opposite ends of the wiper arm from the ball in play rivets..

That's a clean rivet plate.

That was it. Thanks for explaining the other set.
